As a regional innovation area, many equipments for test and evaluation are indispensable, and all equipments should be available for all users. The project collected new introduced equipments and existing equipments in Iwate area, and open to all users.

Iwate Univ. Research Center for Creative Combined Manufacturing Technology

Iwate Univ. Research Center for Creative Combined Manufacturing Technology introduced Equipments for researching Die, Molding, Casting and Composite Device technologies, and one specialist manages and support for testing and evaluation with these equipments.
It plays a role of center function of research on manufacturing technology, and of specialized engineers’ development.
Also, it accelerates to create further competitive technology, to create new manufacturing process and business, to create interdisciplinary research activity, to train specialized engineers and to create collaboration with regional industries.

Iwate Prefectural Univ. Center for Software combined Manufacturing Technology (i-MOS)

Iwate Prefectural Univ. Center for Software Combined Manufacturing Technology established in April 2011, for the purpose of accumulation of industrial technologies and knowledge of combined Software and Hardware.
It accelerates regional R&D with academia/industries collaboration, develops specialized engineers, and opens testing/evaluating Equipments to regional users.
This center located in Takizawa-city industrial innovation Park, and plays a center role of regional competence.

Iwate Industry Research Institute

Iwate Industry Research Institute opens Equipments of precise measuring, material evaluation, EMC, and software testing to Regional Industries. It reinforces regional industries’ competitiveness, and supports them to be able to entry to Automotive OEM / Tier-1 business. Also, it accelerates regional industries’ development of next generation automotive parts and technologies, based on Iwate strength of Die, Molding, Casting, Composite Devices and ICT technology.
